Carbal InstituteInclusive Primary Health Care: Bridging Cultures and Communities
Carbal Institute via Carbal Medical Services operates two General Practice Clinics focused on delivering comprehensive Primary Health Care services in Toowoomba and Warwick, Queensland. We offer a unique perspective by incorporating both Indigenous and non-Indigenous viewpoints, with our collective data reflecting the nuances and uniqueness of both backgrounds.
As an Aboriginal Medical Service, our priority is to provide accessible, culturally appropriate services to First Nations people, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds. We respect the interrelations between families and recognise the representation of non-Indigenous people in Indigenous family structures through marriage, relation, kinship, and the care and foster system.
Accreditation
We proudly uphold and embed quality in all our clinical practices in line with the
RACGP 5th Edition Standards.
Carbal Institute conducts comprehensive audits, both internally and externally, on a regular basis. We host monthly clinical meetings and quarterly Quality Management Meetings to identify risks, review performance, and implement continuous improvements.
